University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) University Cut Off Points 2024/2025 for Admissions, Cut-off Points for all Courses, UESD University Cut Off Points and Admission Requirements into the School.
Additionally, the university sets specific requirements for each program. Consequently, prospective students should carefully review the admission criteria. In essence, meeting the cut off points is just the first step in the admission process.
The UESD cut off points for admission of WASSCE is 36, SSCE 24 and GBCE applicant to first degree courses are three (3) credit passes in three core topics and three (3) credit passes in three other elective subjects.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The programmes seeks to attract holders of all secondary and post-secondary education certificates (see details below) who meet the admission requirements. Enrollment will be opened to both local and foreign nationals. Additionally, this initiative will promote diversity and cross-cultural exchange.
Admission requirements are as follows:
SSSCE/GBCE
Credit Passes in three (3) core English, core Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies and any three elective subjects which should include at least one of the following: Economics; Geography; Mathematics; Biology; Chemistry, Physics and General Agriculture with aggregate score of 24 or better.
WASSCE Applicants
At least a credit in core English, core Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies and any three elective subjects which should include at least one of the following: Economics; Geography; Mathematics; Biology; Chemistry Physics; Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and Crop Science with an aggregate score of 36 or better.
A LEVEL Certificate Applicants
The applicant must have Grade 6 passes in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, science, and Arts, and a pass in General Paper.
HND/Diploma Applicants
HND Second Class holders with relevant background can admit in the third year of the programme after passing an interview. We can also consider HND First Class holders without an interview.

Mature Applicants
Mature Applicants must have attained the age of 25years or above with passes in SSSCE/WASSCE/O’Level Mathematics and English and/or relevant working experience, and must also pass a written examination and interview conducted by the School.
Foreign Students
UESD University Cut Off Points for Foreign students. Applicants with a relevant background and a Second Class HND who successfully pass an interview may be admitted into the Third Year of the program. We may consider HND First Class for admission without an interview.
Additionally, evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non-English speaking countries.
BSc. Geography and Earth Science
The programme is open to Ghanaians and foreign nationals, targeting secondary and post-secondary students with basic reading and writing skills, environmental experiences, and non-degree certificates.
SSSCE/GBCE
Credit Passes in (A-D) three (3) core English, core Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies and any three elective subjects which should include at least one of the following: Economics; Geography; Mathematics; Biology; Chemistry, Physics and General Agriculture with aggregate score of 24 or better.

A LEVEL Certificate Applicants

The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) will determine the equivalence of qualifications from the home country, allowing for the admission of foreign students. Applicants from non-English speaking countries will need to provide evidence of proficiency in English Language.

Additionally, the applicant must meet the minimum requirement of 36 or better aggregate scores in core English, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies, and three elective subjects.
A LEVEL Certificate Applicants
Additionally, the applicant must have Grade 6 passes in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, science, and Arts. Moreover, a pass in General Paper is required.

Additionally, all foreign qualifications are to be referred to the (GTEC) for determination of equivalences and eligibility for admission. Furthermore, applicants should have their results translated into English. Moreover, students should be able to read and write in English.
Applicants may also be required to pass an entrance examination and an interview.
BSc. Water Resources Management
The programme is accessible to prospective SSSCE/WASSCE Applicants, International Applicants, Fee paying Applicants (SSSCE/WASSCE), Mature students, Ghanaians with foreign results Applicants and Applicants from Less Endowed Schools. The admission requirements for the various groups are as follow:
SSSCE/GBCE
Credit Passes (A-D) in core English, core Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies and any three elective subjects which should include at least one of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Elective Mathematics, Geography, Animal Husbandry, General Agriculture, Economics, Government and Fisheries and Aquaculture with aggregate score of 24 or better.
WASSCE Applicants
At least a credit (A1-C6) in core English, core Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies and any three elective subjects which should include at least one of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Elective Mathematics, Geography, Animal Husbandry, General Agriculture, Economics, Government and Fisheries and Aquaculture with an aggregate score of 36 or better.
A LEVEL Certificate Applicants
Five credits (including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject) in the WAEC General Certificate of Education (GCE/WASC) Ordinary Level Examination; and 3 passes at the Advanced Level of the GCE. One of the Advanced Level passes should be a grade D or better. One must also obtain a pass in General Paper.
HND/Diploma Applicants
Holders of HND with a relevant background may be admitted into the third year of the program after undergoing an interview, whereas those with an HND First Class may be considered for admission without the need for an interview.
Mature Applicants
Mature Applicants must have attained the age of 25 or above with passes in SSSCE/WASSCE/O’Level Mathematics and English and/or relevant working experience and must also pass a written examination and interview conducted by the School.
Foreign Students
The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) will determine the equivalence for foreign students based on qualification from their home country. Applicants from non-English speaking countries will need to provide evidence of proficiency in English Language.
In order to be considered for admission, the applicant must possess qualifications that are equivalent to WASSCE, SSSCE, or GCE ‘A’ Level, or any other nationally recognized standard High School level examinations (for qualifications from countries outside WAEC’s zone).
All foreign qualifications are to be referred to the GTEC for determination of equivalences and eligibility for admission.
Applicants should have their results translated into English.
Students should be able to read and write in English.
Applicants may also be required to pass an entrance examination and an interview
