UENR has published the cut-off points required of candidates who are applying for admission into the school. If you reach the cut-off point, UENR would likely grant you access provided your WASSCE result is good enough. https://schoolcutoffpoint.com/
Candidates should bear in mind that the benefit of reaching the UENR cut-off points minimum score as confirmed by the University is that, candidates can stand a chance to gain entry into the University.
UENR cut-off points for SSCE candidates should not be less than 24 whilst that of WASSCE should not be less than 36.
Candidates won’t be considered for admission if their marks are below the University’s cut-off points.

General Entry Requirements
1.6.1 Regular Applicants
(a) 4-Year Degree Programmes
WASSCE and SSSCE holders with credit passes (A1-C6)/(A-D) respectively in three (3) core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies, and three (3) elective subjects relevant to the programme of study.
ADVANCED BUSINESS CERTIFICATE
EXAMINATION (ABCE) holders with passes in three (3) compulsory subjects plus three (3)
optional subjects relevant to the Programme of study.
GENERAL BUSINESS CERTIFICATE (GBCE)
holders with credit passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
ADVANCED LEVEL holders with credit in at
least Five (5) subjects at the GCE ‘O’ Level (or its equivalent) including English and Mathematics, plus at least two passes in the
subjects relevant to the programme of study. HND Holders with three (3) years’ relevant
working experience in addition to the minimum entry requirements at WASSCE/SSSCE or Five (5) GCE O’ Level Credits including English Language and Mathematics.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC YEAR FOR SSSCE/WASSCE/MATURE APPLICANTS
FOREIGN APPLICANTS who have any of the above qualifications or their equivalences from an accredited/recognised institution.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Other qualifications acceptable for consideration include International Baccalaureate (IB), IGCSE, American Grade 13 Examinations and other external qualifications
which have equivalences to the WASSCE/SSSCE and the GCE (A Levels). NB: International students must submit their certificates to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for evaluation and attach the report (s) to the application form. (b) 2-Year Diploma Programmes WASSCE and SSSCE holders with passes (A1-D7)/(A-E) respectively in three (3) core subjects: English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies, and three (3) elective subjects relevant to the programme of
study.
Mature Applicants
Applicants must: be at least 25 years old and show proof of age with a birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of date of birth. Pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted by the institution itself (English Language, Mathematics, and an Aptitude Test).
Possess any of the following: SSSCE/WASSCE, Teacher’s Cert. ‘A’ NVTI/NABPTEX Certificates
Preparatory Classes/Entrance Examination for Mature Applicants Applicants may be invited to participate in mandatory preparatory classes to enable them to prepare adequately for the entrance examination. Applicants shall write the entrance examination (English Language, Mathematics and Aptitude Test) on a date to be specified after the close of sale of vouchers. Date for the Mature Entrance Examinations will be communicated to all applicants.
General Application Guidelines
All applicants are required to complete the online application registration at https://admissions.uenr.edu.gh/ using the Application Number and PIN. Two (2) copies of completed online application forms together with certified copies of certificates /result slips and copies of birth certificates (where available) are to be submitted by Post to:

1.10. Foreign Applicants/Ghanaians Abroad Foreign applicants and Ghanaians living abroad should email [email protected] and receive details for the online application.
1.11. 2023 WASSCE Candidates CANDIDATES FOR THE WEST AFRICAN SENIOR SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION, 2023 can also apply. Such applicants must select “Awaiting Results” in place of the grade in the online application portal.
