ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (B-TECH) DEGREE PROGRAMMES (REGULAR AND WEEKEND) (2 YEARS TOP-UP)
B-Tech Pharmacy Technician
Additionally, Pharmacy Technician, Dispensing Technology, and allied sciences HND holders with a Second-Class Lower Division minimum admission to the third year (Level 300) will undergo interviews.
Hospitality Management
HND graduates and students with a minimum of 2nd Class Lower and two years of working experience qualify for admission based on an interview performance.

Applicants must have HND qualifications in Secretaryship and Management Studies, Purchasing and Supply, Accountancy, or Marketing, and at least two years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Other HND graduates possessing lower than the minimum Second (2nd) Class Division requirement as indicated above, but have worked in relevant fields for a minimum of two (2) years may apply. Applicants in this category will be admitted based on interview performance.
B-Tech Office Technology
HND holders in Secretaryship and Management Studies and related programs with at least a Second-Class Lower Division will gain admission to the third year (Level 300). Moreover, we will also prioritize candidates with relevant work experience during the selection process.
Marketing Management
- Graduates of a Higher National Diploma in Marketing or similar programs with a minimum second-class lower division and one year of working experience or first degree from a recognized institution.
- However, HND graduates from other fields or disciplines with a Qualification lower than the minimum second class lower but have worked in relevant fields for at least one year may still be considered.
B-Tech Marketing
- Admission is available to graduates with a first degree from an accredited university, a second-class lower division, a year of work experience, or a Higher National Diploma in Marketing.
Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- HND holders in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related fields are eligible to apply for the B-Tech degree program; however, they must have a strong HND certificate and two years of relevant post-qualification experience. Additionally, candidates with a second class lower division must pass a selection interview to be conducted by the Technical University. This is in addition to having two years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field.
- Additionally, Electrical Technicians Course Part III or Part II old scheme holders with four (4) or three (3) credit passes including Electrical Principle, Electrical Regulations, Electrical Practical and Electrical Drawing plus four (4) G. C. E ‘O’ Level passes (English, Mathematics) and any other two subjects
OR - Furthermore, the candidate must have completed the Final Electrical Technicians Course as stated above. In addition, they must also possess two (2) or more credit passes of SSCE/WASSCE (SHS) in English and Mathematics.

Applicants holding NAB Accredited degrees will be interviewed. The programme duration is 18 months consisting of 3 semesters. - Applicants holding ATSWA qualifications or equivalents.
Mechanical Engineering
- Holders of a good HND Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with two years relevant post-qualification experience, are eligible for the B. Tech degree program.
- Furthermore, Mechanical/Motor Technicians Course Part III or Part II old scheme holders with four (4) or three (3) credit passes in the relevant courses plus four (4) G. C. E ‘O’ Level passes (English, Mathematics) and any other two subjects are also eligible.
OR - Additionally, the Mechanical/Motor Technicians Course requires two (2) or more credit passes of SSCE/WASSCE (SHS) in English and Mathematics.

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Technology in Agriculture programme, candidates shall obtain the following qualifications:

Admission is opened to:
SSSCE
Firstly, holders with credit passes (A-D) in English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies plus credit passes (A-D) in Three Elective subjects relevant to the programme of study are eligible to apply.
WASSCE
Also, holders with credit passes (A1-D7) in English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies as well as credit passes (A1-C6) in Three Elective subjects relevant to the programme of study are eligible to apply.
CERTIFICATE II HOLDERS:
Additionally, Certificate II Applicants must have obtained passes in six subjects, including three core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Integrated Science/Social Studies. These core subjects are essential for a strong foundation in the chosen field of study. Furthermore, three passes in relevant elective subjects are also required to meet the eligibility criteria for HND Programmes. MATURE CANDIDATES ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
Note: All mature candidates will be expected to pay an additional amount of GH¢100.00 on or before the day of the entrance examination at the Technical University Campus.
