CUT-OFF POINTS OR REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR ENTRY AT KAAF UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
SSSCE
Applicant must obtain six (6) credit passes (A-D) in three (3) core subjects which must include English Language, Core Mathematics. Integrated Science/Social studies and any three (3) relevant elective subjects.
WASSCE
Applicant must obtain six (6) credit passes (A1-C6) in three (3) core subjects which must include English Language, Core Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social Studies and any three (3) relevant elective subjects
GCE ‘A’ LEVEL
Applicant must obtain three (3) passes (at least Grade D) in relevant subjects in addition to five (5) credit passes (at least Grade 6) at GCE ‘O’ Level which must include English Language, Mathematics.
General Science / any Science subject
ABCE
Applicant must obtain three (3) passes (at least Grade D)
GBCE
Applicant must obtain three (3) passes (at least Grade D) in relevant subjects in addition to five (5) credit passes
HND Holders
At least 2nd class lower with two (2) years working experience. Applicants for engineering would undertake one-semester bridging (Top-Up) programme with successful candidates going to level 300. HND candidates for Business programmes would be placed appropriately.
RSA Holders
RSA stage II with passes in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics, plus RSA Stage III with passes in at least three (3) subjects
Post-Secondary School Professional Certificate Holders
F addmits Post-Secondary School Professional Certificate from a recognized institution (eg Nurses’ and Teachers’ Training Colleges) gained after successful complete of Secondary School with the necessary credits at GCE Ordinary level.
Diploma Holders from Tertiary Institutions
KAAF University College of Ghana can addmit a HND and Diploma holders may be admitted, with admission based on curriculum content and final certificate classification. Exemptions granted based on C or better scores.
Mature Candidates
Mature applicants must have reasonable education and work experience, and be 25 years old. They must pass the Entrance Examination and a selection interview.
Transfer Students
A student transferring from a certified university to Kaaf University should register with the University for a minimum study period of at least six (6) semesters as a full-time student before she/he becomes eligible for graduation. The classification of the degree will be based only on the courses taken at the college.
