The All Nation University currently uses the standard cut off point of SSSCE aggregate 36 or better; WASSCE aggregate 24 or better; the ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels as well as the GBCE/ABCE qualifications to admit qualified applicant.

Additionally, the applicant must also satisfy additional requirements set by the faculties.

West African Examination Council (WAEC) Examination Category

THESE ARE THE STANDARD NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED EXAMINATIONS FOR ACADEMIC PROGRESSION INTO TERTIARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN GHANA.

Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE).

Grade D or better in three (3) core subjects (English Language, Mathematics (Core), Integrated Science or Social Studies) and three (3) elective subject.

West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

Grade C6 or better in three (3) core subjects (English Language, Mathematics (Core), Integrated Science ) and three (3) electives subjects.

General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level.

Passes in three (3) subjects (at least, one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also, the applicant must have had credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English, Mathematics and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subject for Science students.

Advance Business Certificate Examination (ABCE)

Passes in three (3) subjects (at least one of the passes should be Grade D or better). Also, the applicant must have had credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science or Social Studies in the General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE).

Mature Students’ Entry

THESE ARE THE STANDARD NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED EXAMINATIONS FOR ACADEMIC PROGRESSION INTO TERTIARY EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN GHANA.

Be at least 25 years old;

 Show proof of age with birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of birth date which is at least 5 years old at the time of application

Provide introductory letter from employer or show any other proof of employment.

 The mature applicant must also have relevant work experience and relevant education, and Passes in WASSCE / SSCE English and Mathematics, and/or equivalent academic qualifications. Additionally, equivalent education includes Teachers’ Certificates and short-term diplomas from accredited institutions. In addition, mature students may also need to successfully complete an internal Mature Students’ Entrance Examination.

Teachers’ Certificate holders must pass the mature student examination, and will be admitted into Level 100 if successful.

Foreign Qualifications

Foreign qualifications must refer to the National Accreditation Board for equivalence and eligibility for Ghanaian tertiary institutions, but Ghanaian tertiary institutions cannot accept American SAT and TOEFL scores.

HND: Applicants with Higher National Diploma or Equivalent:

The HND must be in an area of study relevant to the proposed programme of study.

Successful applicants must have at least one year of relevant work experience for Level 300, 200, or 100. Professional certificates and other qualifications are referred to the National Accreditation Board for admission eligibility.

THIS APPLIES TO ALL ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES:

Applicants for Engineering must have passes in Physics and Chemistry.

In Biomedical Engineering, Biology may be accepted in place of Chemistry. All Engineering programs require Elective/Further Mathematics.

Specific Computer Science (Honours) Requirements:

THIS APPLIES TO ALL ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES:

Applicants for the Computer Science (Honours) programme must have at least a credit pass in Physics and Elective Mathematics.

Specific Engineering Requirements

THIS APPLIES TO ALL ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES:

In order for a transfer student to receive a university degree, they must spend a minimum of 2 years at ANU and demonstrate satisfactory academic progress at another accredited college.

The Application Requirement for Graduate Students

The Master of Philosophy in Business Administration, Master of Business Administration in Hospital Management, Information Technology, Accounting, Marketing, Strategy-Finance, and Master of Science in Cyber Security require a good first degree from All Nations University or an accredited institution.

MA-M.Phil.-PhD Theology

Master of Arts in Theology

An applicant with a diploma in theology will be required to pass the prescribed deficiency courses prior to admission to a master’s degree in theology

Master of Arts in Ministry

An applicant with a first degree in any discipline from an Accredited Institution with a grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent and experience in the ministry either in the church or an institution.

Master of Philosophy in Theology

In order to be considered for admission, applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Theology, Religions, or related fields with a grade point average of 2.5. Conditional admission requires Level 600 courses and 3.00 grade point average.

Doctor of Philosophy in Theology

The application process requires applicants with a Master’s degree in Theology/Religions/related fields, first-year Theology/Religions/related degree, and a Ph.D. candidate to pass prerequisite courses.
